The Wall....and the Bell

What seems to be a lesser visited site in Luzern is the city wall. Tourists can climb the hill, pass the wooly mammoth cattle (the only cattle around not wearing bells) and the local running track, then walk along the wall and even scale the stairs up into three of the towers.
Brad and I climbed happily up the clock tower, but just when we reached the top and saw the bell only a few feet away I realized it was about to strike the hour. Luckily the clock tower didn't adhere to military time, or else we'd be deaf (it was 5PM).

Location, Location, Location

In Prague great beer is available everywhere, but location matters!
We paid anywhere from around 25 CZK for 0.5l at a small bar just a couple blocks off the Old Town Square to 105 CZK for 0.4l at an outdoor table looking onto that same square. That range is roughly equivalent to paying anywhere from $1 to $5 for a pint in the U.S.
